Fresh benchmarks coming at ya. Today I've spun up brand new instance from Vultr and did some benchmarking. All instances were running Ubuntu 24.04 LTS x64 and were created in the New York area (or close to it). Time to see who showed up today.

Conclusion

From the friendly robots:

The Vultr High Performance AMD instance (2 GB, 2 Cores) outperforms the Cloud Compute (1 GB) in almost every benchmark metric. For Redis operations, it achieves significantly higher requests per second and lower latencies. CPU benchmarks also show higher events per second and better thread fairness. File I/O operations are faster with higher throughput, and memory operations exhibit quicker latencies and higher operation rates. While the High Performance AMD instance is more expensive, it is ideal for CPU-intensive, I/O-heavy workloads, and high-concurrency environments, whereas the Cloud Compute (1 GB) is better suited for basic web hosting or light-duty tasks.
