Conclusion

From the friendly robots:

After analyzing the benchmark results, the Vultr High Frequency Intel instance (2 GB, 2 Cores) clearly outperforms the Cloud Compute (2 GB) instance in terms of overall performance metrics across different metrics, especially in CPU-intensive tasks and Redis operations where it shows significantly higher requests per second and lower latencies. The High Frequency Intel instance also demonstrates superior throughput in file I/O operations and MySQL OLTP benchmarks, indicating it is a better choice for demanding workloads that require high CPU speed, multi-threading capabilities, and fast I/O performance. Therefore, it would be the better option for developers and sysadmins running CPU-intensive, I/O-heavy applications or services.
