What the providers shipped

DigitalOcean is throwing itself a high-five for finally removing the TLS 1.0 downgrade, which, frankly, everyone else ditched years ago. It’s also adding a new tab for 1-Click Apps in its DOKS Marketplace, because, why not make it even easier to spin up pre-configured Kubernetes applications? Meanwhile, its Container Registry has expanded to five regions and the DOKS HA control plane is in early access. UpCloud, on the other hand, has unveiled its Managed Load Balancer, capable of supporting up to 50,000 concurrent connections, which is great, unless you’re running the kind of traffic-heavy app that makes those numbers relevant. If you’re still stuck on TLS 1.0, maybe it’s time to update your priorities.
