Conclusion

From the friendly robots:

The DigitalOcean Premium Intel instance outperforms the Premium AMD instance across the board in both raw and complex benchmarks. The Intel instance achieves significantly higher Redis request per second (RPS) rates, like 68,728 RPS for PING_INLINE compared to AMD's 62,073 RPS, and maintains lower latencies overall, such as 0.464 ms average latency for PING_INLINE versus AMD's 0.506 ms. This translates to the Intel instance being preferable for CPU-heavy and memory-intensive workloads where low latency and high throughput are critical.
