All instances were spun up with Ubuntu 26.04 LTS x64 and were created in or around the New York / New Jersey area. Without further ado, here's the results.

Conclusion

From the friendly robots:

The DigitalOcean Premium AMD instance outpaces the Vultr High Performance Intel in overall performance, particularly in Redis benchmark results where it achieves higher requests per second and lower latency for most operations. The DigitalOcean instance excels with an average of 68,306 requests per second for the GET command compared to Vultr's 50,581.69, and similarly performs better in CPU-intensive tasks and memory operations. Therefore, for applications requiring high CPU throughput and low latency, such as real-time data processing or high-frequency trading platforms, the DigitalOcean instance is the better choice.
