Fresh benchmarks coming at ya. Today I spun up fresh instances from DigitalOcean and ran my world famous suite of benchmarking scripts. All instances were spun up with Ubuntu 26.04 LTS x64 and were created in the New York area (or close to it). Enough talk. Here's the data.

Conclusion
From the friendly robots:
The DigitalOcean Premium AMD (2 GB) instance outperforms the Regular (1 GB) instance across key benchmarks, with significantly higher RPS (requests per second) rates in Redis operations like PING_INLINE (71,225 vs. 32,051) and SET (68,120 vs. 30,572), indicating superior performance for CPU-intensive tasks. The Premium instance also excels in MySQL bulk insert throughput, handling 134,435 TPS compared to the Regular's 71,021 TPS. For users needing robust computational power and higher throughput, especially for database-heavy applications, the Premium AMD instance is the clear winner.
