What the providers shipped

DigitalOcean continued its streak of incremental upgrades this November with HTTP/3 support on load balancers and a control-plane upgrade for DOKS that enabled high availability for existing clusters—features that will only marginally change how developers use their services. Meanwhile, UpCloud trotted out a new managed Redis database service that sounds great on paper but will likely feel more like a gimmick unless you're in dire need of Redis (and willing to pay for it). DigitalOcean and UpCloud’s offerings don't break the mold, but for developers needing slightly faster load times or another database service, they provide just enough to nudge things forward, if only a little.
