Conclusion

From the friendly robots:

The UpCloud Balanced instance excels in memory-intensive operations and provides superior throughput and lower latency for Redis commands, especially in bulk operations, which indicates stronger performance in CPU-bound and RAM-intensive tasks. The Vultr High Frequency Intel instance, while slightly behind in Redis performance metrics, demonstrates comparable CPU and memory throughput and features NVMe storage which can enhance I/O operations. Therefore, the UpCloud instance is recommended for workloads that require high RAM and CPU efficiency, like real-time analytics and memory-heavy applications, whereas the Vultr instance would be more suitable for general-purpose usage with benefits in I/O operations and slightly lower pricing.
