Conclusion

From the friendly robots:

The DigitalOcean Premium Intel (2 GB) instance outshines the Vultr High Frequency Intel (2 GB) in overall performance, particularly in Redis benchmarks where it achieves higher request per second (rps) rates like 66,534 rps for PING_INLINE compared to Vultr's 54,735 rps, and lower average latencies. The CPU benchmark also favors DigitalOcean with 562 events per second against Vultr's 1,467. For users needing robust, low-latency performance for memory-intensive tasks, the DigitalOcean instance is the better choice.
