Conclusion
From the friendly robots:
The UpCloud Balanced (2 GB) instance outperforms the Vultr High Performance Intel (1 GB) in several key benchmarks, particularly in Redis operations and CPU performance. The UpCloud instance shows superior Redis performance with higher requests per second (rps) and lower latency across various commands, such as higher rps for SET at 55710.31 compared to Vultr's 45045.04, and notably lower average latency for GET at 0.545 ms versus Vultr's 0.675 ms. Additionally, UpCloud excels in CPU benchmarks with higher events per second at 4956.1 compared to Vultr's 1049.6, indicating better handling of CPU-intensive tasks. For users prioritizing CPU and memory performance, especially for tasks involving high Redis throughput and low latency, the UpCloud instance is the better choice.
