Conclusion

From the friendly robots:

The Vultr High Performance Intel instance outperforms the DigitalOcean Regular instance in key benchmarks, particularly in Redis operations with significantly higher request per second (RPS) rates, for example, 45,766.59 RPS compared to DigitalOcean's 32,051.28 RPS for PING_INLINE, and in MySQL bulk insert throughput with 130,819.67 TPS versus DigitalOcean's 71,020.85 TPS. This makes Vultr a better choice for CPU-intensive and I/O-heavy applications, while DigitalOcean's instance could suffice for less demanding tasks where cost is a primary concern.
