Conclusion

In the benchmark comparison, the High Performance Intel (2 GB) instance from Vultr outperforms the Cloud Compute (2 GB) in nearly all categories, particularly evident in the Redis SET operation with 57,438.25 requests per second compared to 32,237.27, and in MySQL bulk insert with 117,769.09 transactions per second versus 68,808.93. While both instances deliver solid performance, the High Performance Intel model provides better throughput and lower latency across CPU, memory, and I/O operations, making it ideal for CPU-intensive and high-transaction workloads.
