Conclusion
From the friendly robots:
The Vultr High Performance Intel (1 GB) instance outperforms the Vultr High Performance Intel (2 GB) in overall performance, particularly in Redis benchmarks where it achieves higher requests per second (rps) and lower latencies. Notably, the 1 GB instance sustains 70472.16 rps for Redis PING_INLINE compared to 45998.16 rps for the 2 GB instance, and has significantly lower average latencies across various Redis operations. This makes the 1 GB instance a better choice for CPU-heavy workloads needing high throughput and low latency.
