DigitalOcean Premium Intel (1 GB) vs. Vultr High Performance AMD (2 GB)
New day, new benchmarks. Today I spun up fresh instances from DigitalOcean and Vultr and did some benchmarking. All instances were running Ubuntu 26.04 LTS x64 and all resided in or around the New York / New Jersey area. Without further ado, here's the results.

Conclusion
From the friendly robots:
The Vultr High Performance AMD instance leads overall due to superior CPU benchmark results, notably achieving 4293.15 events per second in CPU tests versus DigitalOcean's 1569.73, and handling bulk Redis operations more efficiently. For users prioritizing CPU-intensive tasks and needing high throughput, the Vultr instance provides the edge with its AMD EPYC-Genoa Processor and better overall performance metrics.
