Conclusion
From the friendly robots:
The DigitalOcean Premium Intel instance outperforms the Vultr Cloud Compute instance across various benchmarks, particularly in Redis operations where it achieves significantly higher requests per second and lower latencies. The DigitalOcean instance handles up to 75,075.07 RPS for redis PING_MBULK, compared to Vultr's 33,704.08 RPS, and averages lower latencies for most operations. For CPU benchmarks, DigitalOcean scores 599.47 events per second, whereas Vultr manages only 763.23, highlighting the superior performance of the DigitalOcean instance. For users requiring high throughput and low latency for CPU-heavy or I/O-intensive tasks, the DigitalOcean instance provides the better overall performance.
