Conclusion
From the friendly robots:
The Vultr High Performance AMD instance edges out the High Performance Intel instance with higher benchmarks across the board. Notably, the AMD instance performs significantly better in Redis commands, achieving higher requests per second and lower latencies such as 48757 RPS for PING_INLINE compared to the Intel's 44563. The CPU performance also favors the AMD with a higher events per second count at 4293 versus Intel's 1021.39. For applications requiring high CPU and memory performance, the AMD instance is the superior choice, offering better suitability for CPU-intensive tasks and memory-bound workloads.
