New day, new benchmarks. Today I've got brand new instances from DigitalOcean and Vultr and ran my world famous suite of benchmarking scripts. All instances were running Ubuntu 26.04 LTS x64 and were created in or around the New York / New Jersey area. Enough talk. Here's the data.

Conclusion
From the friendly robots:
The DigitalOcean Premium AMD instance outperforms the Vultr High Performance AMD in most benchmarks, especially in CPU and memory operations. Notably, DigitalOcean's instance achieves significantly higher rates in Redis operations such as LRANGE, clocking in at 36,023 RPS compared to Vultr's 18,086 RPS, and demonstrates better MySQL bulk insert throughput at 131,166 TPS versus Vultr's 235,300 TPS. For users prioritizing CPU-intensive tasks and memory operations, the DigitalOcean instance offers more robust performance.
