Conclusion
From the friendly robots:
The DigitalOcean Premium AMD instance outperforms the Vultr High Performance Intel in most benchmarks, particularly excelling in Redis set operations with rates around 68,000 RPS and significantly lower latencies compared to Vultr's around 52,000 RPS. In CPU-intensive tasks, DigitalOcean also leads with more efficient throughput and lower latencies. For workloads favoring CPU performance and low latency, the DigitalOcean instance is the better choice, though Vultr's lower price might appeal to budget-conscious users needing less headroom.
