Vultr High Frequency Intel (2 GB) vs. Vultr High Performance Intel (1 GB)
New day, new benchmarks. Today I spun up fresh instances from Vultr and ran my world famous suite of benchmarking scripts. All instances were running Ubuntu 26.04 LTS x64 and were created in the New York area (or close to it). Without further ado, here's the results.

Conclusion
From the friendly robots:
The High Frequency Intel (2 GB) instance from Vultr edges out the High Performance Intel (1 GB) instance in overall performance, particularly in CPU-intensive benchmarks like Redis GET commands achieving 60,938.45 requests per second (rps) with an average latency of 0.491 ms, compared to the High Performance instance's 69,156.3 rps with an average latency of 0.459 ms. For database operations, the High Frequency instance also leads in MySQL bulk insert with a transaction per second (tps) rate of 184,521.71 and an average latency of 0.01 ms, while the High Performance instance manages 133,394.61 tps with an average latency of 0.01 ms. For those needing higher CPU power and lower latency, the High Frequency instance is the superior choice, despite having double the RAM, due to its higher performance in critical benchmarks.
