Conclusion

From the friendly robots:

The DigitalOcean Premium AMD instance clearly outperforms the Vultr High Frequency Intel instance based on Redis benchmarks and CPU efficiency. The DigitalOcean instance registers higher request per second rates for Redis commands like SET (64516.13 rps vs 60096.15) and GET (65189.05 rps vs 60938.45), and also demonstrates superior CPU performance metrics with 1324.09 events per second compared to Vultr's 1429.28. For applications that require high Redis performance and CPU efficiency, the DigitalOcean instance is the better choice, though it comes at a lower monthly cost.
