Conclusion
From the friendly robots:
The DigitalOcean Premium AMD (2 GB) instance outperforms the Vultr High Frequency Intel (1 GB) instance overall, especially in CPU-intensive tasks and Redis benchmarks. The DigitalOcean instance achieves higher Redis requests per second (rps) and lower latencies across various operations compared to Vultr's, which is evident in benchmarks like SET (68119.89 rps vs 54854.64 rps) and GET (66401.06 rps vs 54288.82 rps). For those needing robust CPU performance and low latency for database operations, the DigitalOcean instance is the better choice.
