Conclusion
From the friendly robots:
The Vultr High Performance AMD (2 GB) instance outperforms the Vultr High Performance AMD (1 GB) instance overall, as evidenced by higher benchmark results in CPU performance, Redis operations, MySQL throughput, and file I/O. The 2 GB instance achieved an RPS of 49,164.21 for SET and 48,732.94 for XADD, showing superior performance compared to the 1 GB instance's 47,281.32 and 48,169.56 respectively. For MySQL bulk insert, the 2 GB instance achieved 247,121.35 TPS versus the 1 GB instance's 227,624.73 TPS. For file I/O, it handled 61.19 MB/s read and 40.79 MB/s written compared to the 1 GB instance's 76.54 MB/s read and 51.03 MB/s written. Opt for the 2 GB instance for applications requiring higher CPU, memory, and I/O throughput.
