New day, new benchmarks. Today I spun up fresh instances from Vultr and did some benchmarking. Each instance was spun up with Ubuntu 26.04 LTS x64 and were created in or around the New York / New Jersey area. Without further ado, here's the results.

Conclusion
From the friendly robots:
The High Performance Intel instance from Vultr outperforms the High Performance AMD instance, particularly in CPU benchmarks where it records higher events per second (1085 vs 4290) and lower average latency (0.92 ms vs 0.23 ms), indicating superior computational efficiency. While both instances have comparable file I/O performance, the Intel version excels in handling Redis operations with higher request per second (rps) rates in critical commands like SET, GET, and LPUSH. For users prioritizing CPU-intensive tasks or Redis operations, the Intel-based instance provides better performance and should be the preferred choice.
