Fresh benchmarks coming at ya. Today I've got brand new instances from DigitalOcean and Vultr to run some benchmarks on. Each instance was running Ubuntu 26.04 LTS x64 and were created in or around the New York / New Jersey area. Let's get into the numbers.

Conclusion
From the friendly robots:
The DigitalOcean Premium AMD instance leads overall with superior Redis benchmark results, particularly the GET command achieving a remarkable 65,189 RPS compared to Vultr's 53,135 RPS, and lower average latencies across most Redis operations. While Vultr shows slightly higher throughput in MySQL bulk inserts and better CPU benchmark scores, DigitalOcean's overall superior memory and file I/O performance, with lower latencies and higher throughput, makes it more suited for memory-intensive and I/O-heavy applications, whereas Vultr's slightly higher MySQL performance might favor more CPU-intensive tasks.
